A Season To Celebrate

Vaillancourt Folk Art's 2014 Decorations: A Season To Celebrate

One of the many decorated columns of this seasonOur decorating theme this year features vignettes of celebrations for Christmas and the winter season.

A Vintage Christmas with popcorn and cranberry garlands, Santas in warm mellow colors, and “antiqued” ornaments remind us of Christmas long ago.

We are ready for a Santa party for kids of all ages. Our table is set in shades of green and red with folky felt creatures, lots of festive ornaments and a tree topped with a sailboat!

Our “Downton Abbey” dining room is set for a Christmas Eve celebration for the family. Egyptian glass ornaments hang above the table that is set for dessert and punch with Classical Christmas dinnerware. We have not forgotten the “downstairs” of Downton Abbey with linens, foods, and candles.

We are celebrating winter with a frozen theme of snowman ornaments and pillows, icicles shimmering in trees and snowflakes falling from snowy white garlands.

A Chriskindl Mart area is filled with German nutcrackers, Austrian snow globes, bells by Belsnickle of Pennsylvania and Hestia nativity from Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Along with these featured areas, the shop is fully decorated with beautiful ornaments and Christmas treasures that are sure to enhance your own celebration of this most festive season.
