As we bid farewell to 2023, we pause to reflect with gratitude on the extraordinary journey we’ve shared with everyone. This year has been unlike any other—each and every day felt as though the spirit of Christmas was embracing us all.

This year seemed to be one of discovery. From the early days of January through today, our doors have been graced by numerous first-time collectors from around the world—whether drawn in during their summer holidays or those locals, who, after years of seeing our signs on the highway, decided to finally take the exit from Rt. 146 and step inside. We’ve had the privilege of sharing the enchantment of a Sutton Christmas with countless friends.

The world is a very large place and while we’ve been honored to welcome visitors from its furthest reaches, we are incredibly lucky to call Sutton our home. One of the most rewarding experiences this season was a new event: the Manchuag Stroll, where we partnered with a neighboring store and the Sutton Fire Department to celebrate the historic mill village of Manchaug—what we consider to be the heart of Sutton. This inaugural, four hour event, embodied the quintessential Christmas spirit. The evening celebrated the local community and was filled with palpable excitement and merriment – core memories (and a new tradition) were made for all who attended.

Our team internally continues to be the lifeblood in creating both our Chalkware collectibles and a retail experience like no other. Despite the challenges of meeting demand, we are proud to honor our commitment to quality over quantity. Growing our Massachusetts-based team (affectionally known internally as our family) we expound the importance of maintaining the fine art quality that defines our brand. Our teams’ dedication remains unwavering to our mission of being the highest quality Christmas collectible in the world, one that will endure the test of time and be passed down through generations.

Looking ahead, the 2024 year will be a cause for celebration as we mark our 40th anniversary. From Gary and Judi founding this company in their home through our present-day endeavors, we’ve remained true to Judi’s inspirations of history, tradition, values, and community. As we move into the new year, we Cherish a quote found in well-known 1897 editorial published in The Sun, and find it more relevant now than ever before: “He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there was no Santa Claus!”

We believe in Santa and we are grateful that you believe too. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
