In an effort to “catch up” and circumvent any potential COVID-related shutdowns, we’re cancelling 2021 Collector’s Weekend with the hopes to re-think and re-introduce it in 2022. We do urge you to visit us in April for Premier Number Weekend and during our Christmas Christkindlesmarkt. When COVID first descended upon us last Spring, we knew that we’d need to postpone all of our events where social distancing would be difficult. Compounded by collectors’ origins around the country, we decided to cancel Collector’s Weekend for the year. We had fully expected to push our 25th annual Collector’s Weekend into 2021, but COVID had made some changes to our business well beyond the singular event. With our pandemic shutdown in the spring of 2020, our production had been playing catch-up throughout the year. We were very fortunate that our eCommerce gallery kept pace with the digital tidal wave that most eCommerce brands enjoyed and our Retail Gallery was able to cater to safe, in-person shopping. This year, as we continue to focus on serving our wholesale accounts and ensuring we have enough product in our Retail Gallery during Christmas, we’ve decided to postpone Collector’s Weekend yet again. We have always loved this event, especially seeing Collectors that have become friends, but the weeks of preparation for the Painting Workshops would put us in a bind.Although we have no details for what 2022 will look like, we are hoping to re-imagine the weekend’s 25th celebration so everyone can enjoy the core of what the weekend is about, celebrating our collectors. We apologize to all of those who make the annual journey to the homeland, but we invite you to “come home” and join us during any of our other events we have scheduled—especially, Premier Number Weekend!
