You can not think about Christmas without thinking about Gingerbread; there is nothing better during the Christmas season than the smell of gingerbread cooking and the delight of tasting the warm dessert or cookies. Judi Vaillancourt has taken that warm memory and turned it into a lasting tradition. This statement piece was cast in a French chocolate mould and painted with gingerbread in mind. The detail is intricate and the Santa itself, with its Gingerbread inspired coat, will last for generations to come. Originally designed to honor the Queen of England, you’ll find the Union Jack tucked in his side pocket.
Vaillancourt is a family owned business located in Sutton, Massachusetts and is best known for their handmade and hand painted chalkware figures. These figures are made using vintage and antique chocolate, candy, and ice cream moulds. The Vaillancourt’s have the largest private collection in the USA and have been creating these heirloom masterpieces meant to be passed down from generation to generation since 1984.
