Description

Chalkware Made in United States
Seasons: Winter
Year Issued: 2010

The first of a highly anticipated A Christmas Carol series, this Ebenezer is modeled after Judi Vaillancourt’s painting, “Ebenezer Meeting Marley.” Having created this mould in 2010, the level of detail within the mould itself is second only to the detail within the painting. From Ebenezer’s robe—which is modeled after a period banyan once worn in Sutton, MA over 300 years ago—to the rug pattern—designed after a rug that lies within the Vaillancourt home—the piece’s detail is second to none.

The piece depicts Ebenezer Scrooge first encountering his friend, Marley, but as a ghost!
