In our almost-40-year history, we cannot remember a time where we have been more blessed with such appreciation for Christmas traditions. We suspect that it is related to our fine art detail as well as our “Made in America” story, but whatever the reason may be, we’re fortunate for the thousands of first-time collectors who just discovered us this year.

Since the start of the pandemic— which seems further away than it is—we have seen retailers close, families in heartbreak, and friends in disbelief, but one thing that continues to shine through is the magic of Christmas and appreciation of traditions.

This year, we’re especially grateful for the town of Sutton and village of Manchaug. Both the administrative team that ensures the town is running smoothly and the local and state-wide elected officials —everyone is personally invested in preserving the quintessential New England town. Because of their trust and dedication, we have been able to foster our local events through the expansion of our Christkindlesmarkt—where we welcomed just shy of 2,000 collectors from 25 different states and 2 countries to our beautiful town during two days in November; we welcomed over 500 collectors in sharing the story of A Christmas Carol, performed by Gerald Charles Dickens during Thanksgiving Weekend; and enhanced Saturday shopping with our Mini Outdoor German Christmas Wine Markets each Saturday in November and December. These events, combined with our regular retail shopping days, allowed us to welcome countless families into our Retail Gallery to experience Christmas in a manner that seems to have been overlooked in the retail industry.

For collectors who come specifically for the Chalkware that we’re known for, we rely on the thirty Massachusetts employees that we employ, support, and protect as if they are family. Without their skills, dedication, and personalities, we would not be where we are today. The reality is, our staff helps us stay in line with our core beliefs and mission as a purveyor of Christmas traditions.

We are thankful for your continued support of our business and grateful for your love of Christmas. As we look forward to starting the new year, we move forward conscious about the next generation—both ours and yours—in the hopes of always being part of your family’s Christmas traditions.

From our family, to yours… Merry Christmas
