Using restored forms from the 1930s it was possible to reissue one of the most extraordinary articles in the history of the MAROLIN Manufactory The Mouse Band Probably inspired by the first Walt Disney characters and movies like Steamboat Willie these figures were made for the American market only. Each figure is carefully created by hand using the papier-mâché pressing process hand-cleaned sanded and then exclusively hand painted. After patinizing the figures receive a partial gold decoration.The Mouse Band consists of eight different mice conductor dancer cymbal player double bass mouse flute player drummer tuba player and harmonica player. As a set these figures are an extraordinary decoration idea with a great history. You receive the set safely packed in a gift box with contour cut soft foam inlay and certificate of authenticity.

About Marolin Manufaktur

Founded in 1900, Richard Mahr of Steinach, Germany created the finely detailed papier-mâché figurines that have since become internationally known and collected. Marolin figurines are hand composed using a combination of kaolin, chalk, paper fibers, organic paste, and clay before being hand poured and painted.
