This special piece depicts America’s favorite Holiday person—Santa. Wearing his staple red suit with white fur, Santa is seen sitting in his sleigh ready to deliver toys to the good boys and girls. Created in Sutton, Massachusetts, this Chalkware figurine gets it’s shape from a custom chocolate mold cast exclusively for Frontgate. The piece is hand-painted with oil paints from the quaint Vaillancourt Folk Art studios in New England.
Vaillancourt is a family owned business located in Sutton, Massachusetts and is best known for their handmade and hand painted chalkware figures. These figures are made using vintage and antique chocolate, candy, and ice cream moulds. The Vaillancourt’s have the largest private collection in the USA and have been creating these heirloom masterpieces meant to be passed down from generation to generation since 1984.
