The winner of the 2010 Collector’s Weekend Design contest, Steve Martin, worked with Judi in designing this piece. The piece consists of several moulds, each hand carved and painted by Judi Vaillancourt, to be an interpretation of a child’s first glimpse of St. Nicholas. The child, wearing Dr. Denton’s, is holding A Night Before Christmas and a toy plane as we see a stocking held by the chimney with care and Santa’s foot. Because of the complexity and amount of detail within this piece, it will be very limited. >> See the painting process here.
