Although Vaillancourt chalkware is often thought about during the holiday months, it’s during the spring that collectors are able to get the coveted “premier numbers.” Vaillancourt assigns a number, in the order in which they are painted, for each piece painted in their Sutton studios.

Gerald Charles Dickens will present his one-man show of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, inspired by the Royal Shakespeare Company’s renowned eight-hour adaptation. This condensed one-hour performance brings to life some of Charles Dickens’ most memorable characters, including Wackford Squeers, Smike, Newman Noggs, and Sir Mulberry Hawk, as Nicholas journeys across Victorian England. Showcasing Dickens’ theatrical brilliance, this event offers a captivating interpretation of a literary classic by the great-great-grandson of the author.

Tickets sold hourly to ensure a comfortable experience, but time is not limited.
Enjoy your Christmas shopping with our revamped Yuletide Wine Garden (formerly Outdoor Mini Wine Market)! These markets are every Saturday (starting November 29th) and Sunday (starting December 1st) through December 21st where we convert our outdoors into a festive wine garden. Bookend your shopping with Christmas wines, beer, and hot glühwein paired with freshly baked goods in a festive outdoor environment. Tickets not required.
Get into the Christmas Spirit with Dickens, by Dickens this Thanksgiving Weekend as Charles Dickens’ great-great-grandson, Gerald takes the stage at Vaillancourt Folk Art’s Blaxton Hall Theatre with a one-man performance of Dickens’ most recognized work, A Christmas Carol.
Extend the holiday feeling by book-ending your Christmas shopping during our outdoor miniature German Christmas Wine Market. On the first Saturday in December we will be converting our outdoor space into a mini European Christmas market with an outdoor bar serving holiday themed beverages—including Vaillancourt Christmas Cabernet Sauvignon, and Nürnberg’s original hot Glühwein—as well as welcoming both Frauleins Bakery and the new Coney Island Hot Dog Truck from Worcester. The outdoor space will be open from 10am – 4pm and is the perfect way to start or end your Christmas errands and shopping.
