Vaillancourt Curations: A Journey of Wine is a monthly wine tasting event at Blaxton Hall, running March through October, with themes that change each month—from classic French regions and global rosés to bold autumn reds and sparkling wines—culminating in a November Holiday VIP event. Each evening features a guided tasting of six wines, a complimentary charcuterie board, and pre- and post-event cash bar service. Guests may purchase featured wines to enjoy at home, reinforcing the experience as both an educational and social wine club-style gathering.

Introduction of Vaillancourt’s new Chalkware Designs with Premier Numbers available! Although Vaillancourt chalkware is often thought about during the holiday months, it’s during the spring that collectors are able to get the coveted “premier numbers.” Vaillancourt assigns a number, in the order in which they are painted, for each piece painted in their Sutton studios.

Kick off the Christmas season with the unveiling of the Annual Christmas Decoration Theme at Vaillancourt Folk Art in Sutton, MA. In addition to exploring the year’s inspiring decorations, premier numbers of the annual Starlight Chalkware Santa will be made available.

Vaillancourt Folk Art will host its inaugural Holiday Wine Festival on Saturday, November 7—a curated 21+ wine tasting experience designed to help guests select the perfect wines for Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties, and holiday host gifts. Tailored to the interests of the Vaillancourt Collector, the festival will partner exclusively with Ruby Wines to present a diverse portfolio that aligns with the tastes and expectations of this audience.

Tickets sold hourly to ensure a comfortable experience, but time is not limited.

“A Celtic Christmas” brings authentic Irish holiday music to Blaxton Hall, featuring beloved seasonal favorites, lively Celtic instrumentals, and traditional sounds like fiddle, tin whistle, and bodhrán. It’s a festive, family-friendly evening of warmth, storytelling, and Christmas spirit—Irish style.

Celebrate Sutton’s Historic Village of Manchaug with a traditional outdoor Christmas stroll bringing together food, history, shopping, and holiday merriment. Including a visit with St. Nicholas, Krampus, live music, and festive decorations during the evening of the second Saturday in December.

Celebrate the season by candlelight with Musicians of the Old Post Road as we present An 18th-Century Yuletide Celebration by Candlelight, a festive concert that brings the sounds of Baroque and early Classical holiday traditions to life. Performed on period instruments and illuminated by hundreds of flickering candles to preserve the historic ambiance, the program features carols and seasonal works from across Europe and early America—some familiar, others rediscovered after centuries of silence. Based in the Boston area, Musicians of the Old Post Road is an award-winning ensemble known for its engaging, historically informed performances and commitment to reviving lost musical treasures.
