Chalkware Made in United States

In 1986, friends and artists Gwen and Ned Foltz did a personal appearance at Vaillancourt Folk Art and introduced the Vaillancourt’s of the Pennsylvanian German tradition: onion skin eggs. Judi designed this piece in 2000 in honor of the new tradition adopted by the Vaillancourt family.

This piece shows two bunnies, one brown and one white, sitting in the grass and leaning against an interpretation of an onion skin egg decorated with a natural pattern.
