The 25th Annual Starlight Santa features an old world Santa in traditional red. This Santa is sitting on a not-so-traditional green scooter as he travels with his bag of wishes with an antique bottle brush tree sticking out of the top. As Vaillancourt Folk Art celebrates 30 years of creating hand-painted, traditions from their Sutton, MA studios, it is only fitting that the 25th Annual Starlight continue the tradition of helping to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses through the UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center.
Vaillancourt is a family owned business located in Sutton, Massachusetts and is best known for their handmade and hand painted chalkware figures. These figures are made using vintage and antique chocolate, candy, and ice cream moulds. The Vaillancourt’s have the largest private collection in the USA and have been creating these heirloom masterpieces meant to be passed down from generation to generation since 1984.
