Chalkware Made in United States
Year Issued: 2010 at $240.00 for Lincoln Library & Museum

As the nation approached the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, Judi was asked by several museums—Gettysburg, Ford’s Theatre in Washington D.C., and The Lincoln Museum in Illinois—to design commemorative Chalkware figures, including the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. After taking a year of development and research, Judi created this Abraham Lincoln figure and introduced it at the Gettysburg Museum on September 4, 2010 to rave reviews. While most Vaillancourt chalkware is traditionally made in antique moulds, this Lincoln figure was designed and sculpted based upon several notable busts and statues of the President.
