Terms and Conditions for eNewsletter Complimentary Shipping

To obtain complimentary shipping, you must be a verified, active, opt-in email subscriber. Subscribed customers will have the option presented during checkout for complimentary economy shipping for orders being shipped within the continental United States. Economy shipping method will be determined by Vaillancourt Folk Art and may include USPS Priority, FedEx Ground, and FedEx SmartPost. If your order is time sensitive or you prefer to choose your shipping service all subscribers will be given the option to upgrade and choose their preferred shipping method and speed. Unfortunately, the complimentary shipping cannot be applied to past orders. Some items will be exempt from the program—including the Starlight Santa and other pieces where insurance is prohibitive. As always, the goal is to ensure the safe delivery of our fine art quality Chalkware and ornaments in a safe, time sensitive manner.

Troubleshooting

Q: “I’m not seeing the free shipping option.”
A: Be certain that you are logged in using the email address that you are receiving our emails from. If you have multiple accounts, we are happy to merge your online order history. Please contact us to do so.

Q: “I just signed up, but don’t see that my complimentary shipping is active.”
A: If you just signed up, you may need to log out and then log back in again!

Q: “It says that my Complimentary Shipping is ‘Active’ but I am still being charged shipping.
A: Complimentary shipping can only be shipped to continental United States locations.

Q: “I’m ‘active’ and shipping to within the country!”
A: You may have a restricted item (including the 2019 Starlight Santa). Because of the rollout of this program and to be fair to the hundreds of customers that have pre-ordered the Starlight Santa, this piece will be restricted for complimentary shipping. Other items may be restricted because of the cost of insurance and the inability to ship non-economical methods. If you’re ordering multiple pieces, you may need to purchase the restricted item separately.

Q: “Can I call in my order?”
A: Unfortunately, because of the system integration complimentary shipping is restricted to online ordering now.
