Yellow Santa with Gaoler’s Lantern CW

Designed especially for Williamsburg, this Santa is part of a chalkware series reflecting Colonial Williamsburg’s holiday traditions. He carries our Travis House lantern, a style of gaoler’s (jailer’s) lantern, and wears a cloak in distinctively colonial yellow. Filled with a plaster compound instead of chocolate, antique confectionery molds produce delightful collectible figurines, each cast by hand. Talented artists paint the details that bring each figure to life. Each Santa is signed “Vaillancourt” and dated.
