Three new pieces now available through the Vaillancourt Catalog.
In 2016, Judi designed a group of pieces that were inspired by forecasted fashion trends that were obviously drawing from the colonial era. We had full intention of giving these designs to one of our favorite dealers, but, we felt that the pieces were too good to let go of. With three sizes available, each piece is hand-painted in pain-staking detail with a silver and plum palette and decorated with soft floral and brocade patterns.
This silver coated Santa shimmers with elegance. Using plum accents, the detail work painted on the coat—paying homage to the brocade series—makes this piece stand tall. When paired with the Plum Father Christmas with Peony Wreath and Santa with Peony Coat you have a collection that will withstand the test of time and trends.
An impressive statement piece, this plum Father Christmas is hand painted and decorated using a delicate brocade pattern. In his hands is a colonial revival wreath, but decorated with peonies and other floral elements. Hand painted in Sutton, MA, this piece pairs beautifully with the Father Christmas in Plum and Silverand Santa with Peony Coat.
With Victorian lace inspiration, this Santa with Peony Coat and Kissing ball emits such class and elegance that it is sure to be the staple of any collection. With translucent beading to make the coat even more ornate, this piece is the perfect companion to the Plum Father Christmas with Peony Wreath.
