Vaillancourt Folk Art is happy to announce that it has renewed their lease for 5-years keeping their Gallery, Studio, and Museum at the Sutton, MA Manchaug Mills.

The nationally recognized Christmas studios moved to their current location in 2007 after moving from an 1800s Farmhouse located in Sutton on Armsby Road. The current space where they reside is 12,000 sq/ft to accommodate both the wholesale and retail business as well as their Christmas museum and recently added Blaxton’s Hall where the annual performance of A Christmas Carol is held. In addition, the Manchaug Mills space allows for group and bus tours, where visitors can watch the artists painting, along with also having rental space for business meetings and organizations.

Vaillancourt Folk Art has been creating highly detailed, hand-painted collectible chalkware from antique moulds in their Sutton, Massachusetts studios since 1984. With a goal of creating that one special gift that will be handed down for generations, Vaillancourt chalkware is an original form of art. Still family owned and operated, Vaillancourt products are available to 500 stores around the nation, including Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Williamsburg, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and hundreds of small shoppes. Their Sutton Studio, Museum, and gallery is open daily, Monday through Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 11-5.

Manchaug Mills consists of an old granite 4-story building with a more recently constructed metal building attached. The mill dates back to 1826 when it was built from local Douglas granite for the production of cotton fabric. The well known trade name “Fruit of the Loom” originated here.
