During Premier Number Weekend (March 4th – 6th) Vaillancourt Folk Art will be introducing the newest chalkware pieces for the 2011 line. Premier Number Weekend is the perfect opportunity for collectors to purchase the lowest production numbers (including studio editions) of each style. Priority goes to the first customers at the Vaillancourt gallery. Those who purchase the new pieces on-line or over the phone, and specifically request to wait for low numbers, will get priority once in-store customers have been fulfilled.

Christmas

Known for Christmas Chalkware, Vaillancourt Folk Art is happy to be able to preview the 2011 line that Judi has spent months preparing. Available for pre-order, the Premier Numbers of the 2011 Christmas Chalkware is now available. In addition to some great old world Father Christmases and contemporary Santas, Vaillancourt Folk Art is introducing some of their popular Snowmen and custom molded Angel with Gold Wings. The snowmen, the Rolly Polly Snowman, Snowman Stack and Snowman with (real!) Coal, are introduced with incredible creativity, detail, and some familiar patterns and design. The Santa with Glittered Snowman reintroduces a gold leafed Father Christmas with Mica coated snowman. The Santa with Tree presents classic old worlds look with a fantastic shape and design paired with the Santa Presenting Teddy which pays homage to the sweet Santa face as he presents the Teddy Bear. Recognizing traditional perceptions, the Santa and his Reindeer (single, group of four, or full set of 8 available, plus Leroy) make the perfect gift for those young at heart. But perhaps you are looking for a piece that screams historic reference, we have created a mold based on a postcard designed by Louis Prang depicting Santa in a Christmas Pudding Cart being led by elves riding geese!

Although low numbers of the 2011 Christmas Chalkware will be available after Premier Number Weekend, they will be available throughout the year. Whether you love snowmen, contemporary Santas or history-rich classics, the 2011 collection will please anyone with a discerning eye.
