When Judi designed the Classical Christmas creamware she focused on creating a dinnerware line that embodied historical value along with contemporary elegance. While this dinnerware does have Christmas design and patterns within, it is subtle enough to pass off using throughout the year while being elegant enough to use during any dinner party.

The creamware itself is produced in England, at one of the oldest European dinnerware manufactures in operation. When Judi designed the line she was inspired by Leeds Creamware from 1778. Each of the pieces she designed has hand pierced edges, hand twisted handles, and beautifully designed patterns that Judi hand illustrated. The illustration was then applied to the Punch Bowl and is also used within some other items, like the Footed Bowl.

One of the most recognizable aspects to the Classical Christmas collection is the detail work within the Punch Bowl and Punch Cups. Each has a relief design of Santa’s face. The face itself was actually modeled after David Putnam a Sutton resident, whose lineage traces back to the founding years of the town. David Putnam was instrumental in helping Gary and Judi during their stage in life where they would restore antique homes. Working at the local sawmill, David helped to put together gunstock posts and lumber for Gary and Judi’s restoration projects.
